Sales Positions at Anchor Subaru and Anchor Nissan

Anchor Subaru and Anchor Nissan both located on Route 146 in North Smithfield, Rhode Island  just 10 minutes North of Providence  are seeking new and pre-owned sales consultants. We are growing and we need to expand our sales staff.

Anchor has two new car franchises Subaru and Nissan. We sell more than 250 vehicles per month.  Our stable and long tenured sales staff has been very busy this year. With the automotive industry stuggling, we have still increased our sales by over 25%! We do this by having the best marketing budget, the largest inventory, the highest in ethical sales practices and ongoing Joe Verde training for the entire staff. 

We have only two available positions.

The ideal candidate will focus on the sale of new and pre-owned vehicles to the general public. We typically have an inventory of over 500 new Subaru's and Nissan's and more than 200 pre-owned. We have a great sales floor and a website that attracts more than 3,500 unique visitors a day.

We are looking for individuals with the following credentials:

• Have experience selling new and pre-owned vehicles, appliances, mortgages, or, other "high ticket" items
• Have a high standard of ethical practices and great references
• Have a clean driving record

Employment at Anchor Subaru or Anchor Nissan is subject to a pre-employment drug and background screening and driving record check.

• Performs vehicle inspections, troubleshooting, and testing for light & heavy mechanical services to determine required or recommended repairs as required and in accordance with company policy
• Diagnoses malfunctions and performs the necessary repairs, including not limited to; replacing parts and components as required
• Performs tire services including but not limited to rotate, replace, mount and balance
• Performs preventative maintenance including but not limited to lubrication, fluid replacements, coolant services, oil change, filter service, and brake adjustments
• Examines the assigned vehicle to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended
• Verifies vehicle serviceability and ensure quality repairs the first time by conducting test drives; adjusting controls and systems as required
• Ensures customer vehicles are kept clean during the repair process
• 5+ years of technical experience
• Nissan Certified
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Dexterity and physical strength needed to assemble and repair large automotive parts.
• Strong verbal communication skills
• Experience in Microsoft Office programs preferred
• Strong work ethic and an ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong time management and organizational skills

With the automotive industry off so much, we have still increased our sales goals and have attained them! We do this by having a great marketing budget, a very large inventory, the highest in ethical sales practices and ongoing Joe Verde training for the entire staff.
